I absolutely loved working on this design. First, I chose different images from a certain time period, and then incorporating them to make a textile design. The time period I used was the Art Nouveau period; which is known for its curving lines, flowers, and other elements from nature. The part that I did not like about the design is how the girl’s hair blends in with the outside ring. It makes it hard to discern between the two. The part that I really like is the color combination, and I like how the center part contrasts with the outer edges. This design helped me learn about a new time period that I had no idea about, and it also helped expand my knowledge of Photoshop.
